Vietnam War and Navy Seal Veteran Frank Richard

Sergeant 1st Class Frank Richard joined the U.S. Navy in 1969 and at boot camp he took the Navy SEAL test and passed. After rigorous SEAL training, Richard deployed to Vietnam in December of 1970 and completing his tour in June 1971. Richard was honorably discharged from the Navy in February 8, 1980 as a Electrician’s Mate 1st Class.

    OP, please understand military rank structure. There are no Sgt 1st Class in the US NAVY. A Petty Officer 1st Class is a US NAVY E-6 pay grade. Please amend your video narrative to correctly reflect Petty Officer Richards rate & Rank. EM1 (SO) Richards.

    I love anything that has to do with the NAVY SEALS. My cousin graduated from buds class 58. I am so proud of what him and his brothers accomplished in Vietnam.

    If you ever visit Vietnam Thailand Cambodia etc I think you would question the morality of the people who dropped bombs on villages,those village people don't want war with anybody they live the simplest of lives but when your families lives are threatened then you have to do what you can,this whole war could of been sorted through dialogue but that didn't suit the west agenda at that time,there is no glory to be had from that conflict even for the communist Vietnamese,it devistated the country.
