I like to hear that ciws. Brrrt!
Commander onboard the uss Wisconsin: 5 second standby. 5-4-3-2-1 "missile launching"
Saddam: oh shit!
If anyone ever has the chance, visit the Wisconsin in Norfolk, VA. Best experience ever.
I love the sound of that klaxon alarm when the armored missile launcher opens. Sounds way cooler than the ones they use now on the DDGs
So how vulnerable would a battleship with cruise missiles(1200 mile range?) and anti-aircraft missile defense systems be to enemy aircraft/carrier attacks? Imagine a BB like that during WWII? Even if you attacked it with 100 aircraft, the ship could continuously fire missile after missile, loading them up from below-decks until everything in the sky was dead.
The missiles look like they are launching towards the ships super structure. I'm trying to understand the angling. They need to bring the battleships back again, even more updated. Our marines would love them for sure!
at 2:55 "how long?" "30 seconds" … 2 seconds later the Tomahawk launches. I love it
Awesome, simply awesome.
