German Counterattack Near St. Lo Captured Film 1944 WW2 Combat Footage with Sound

German Counterattack Near St. Lo Captured Film 1944 WW2 with sound. Action packed clip from a German propaganda film depicting an alleged counterattack east of Saint Lo on July 17-18, 1944. There is a little bit of everything in this one with Panzers in action, mortars, rockets, an Allied air raid on the St. Lo airfield and German AAA shooting down a US fighter as well as a downed B-25. The narrator points out that the Germans have inserted a scene of destroyed British equipment when there were no British ground forces in the area. An interesting clip of some of the fighting in France following the D-Day invasion from the German perspective.

A Sherman "disabled"? Looked more like wrecked to me, more hit in the distance too, no comment about that.
